The agbada trend is hotter than ever, i know tom boys wanna try these beautiful aso ebi agbada for women. I remember seeing a lovely lady walk by me on Sunday, she looked totally amazing in her black and white agbada with silver embroidery which she paired with a black stiletto. Her look was so amazing every one kept staring at it, in simple terms “she killed it” she was the “tom boy of the moment”.
The Agbada trend which is originally from the south western part of the country has been known to be a men’s only attire but today its different. Female fashion in Nigeria is at its best, hence creativity has never been this high and that’s what makes this trend so interesting. The Agbada trend started late 2014 and when you thought The female Agbada #Danshiki trend was just about to die out, celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Uche Jumbo, Kate Henshaw and Linda Ejiofor, stepped out looking fabulous in their androgynous style for the surulere movie premier.
There are so many ways to pull off this style, some women pair their dashiki/agbada with head gears some go with fedora’s others with the traditional male caps. The options are simply limitless when it comes to styling. For a more feminine feel it would be best to pair your agbada / danshiki with heels, this gives it a chic and refined feminine look.
These ladies prove that the agbada is not solely for men as they rock this androgynous look in style;
I think these looks are amazing and unique, What do you think? Are these looks something that you can totally pull off?
